在留資格について

特定技能

日本の人手不足を解消するために、特定の分野で必要な技能を持った外国人労働者が就労できる資格です。この資格には「特定技能1号」と「特定技能2号」があり、1号は一定の技能を持つ人に与えられ、2号はさらに高度な技能を持つ人に適用され、家族の帯同が許可される場合もあります。

技人国（技術・人文知識・国際業務）

外国人が日本で特定の専門職に従事するための資格です。主に技術職や人文知識（経済、法律、教育など）を持つ外国人が対象で、企業での勤務や特定の業務を行うことができます。この資格は、学歴や職歴に基づき、一定の条件を満たす必要があります。

介護

外国人が日本で介護業務に従事するための資格です。この資格を取得することで、介護施設などで高齢者や障害者の支援を行うことができます。特に介護福祉士の資格を持つことが求められ、介護職の人手不足解消を目的としています。

留学

外国人が日本で学業を行うための資格です。本来、就労は認められていませんが、資格外活動許可を得ることで週28時間以内の労働が可能となります。
※夏休み期間など長期休暇中は1日8時間、週40時間となります。

About Status of Residence

Specified Skilled Worker

This is a qualification that allows foreign workers with necessary skills in specific fields to work in Japan in order to address Japan's labor shortage. There are two types of this qualification: "Specified Skilled Worker (i)" and "Specified Skilled Worker (ii)." SSW (i) is granted to individuals with a certain level of skills, while SSW (ii) applies to those with more advanced skills and may also allow family members to accompany them.

Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services

This is a visa status that allows foreign nationals to engage in specific professional occupations in Japan. It is primarily intended for foreign individuals with skills in technical fields or in humanities (such as economics, law, and education), enabling them to work for companies or perform specific types of work. This visa requires meeting certain conditions based on educational background and work experience.

Care

This is a qualification that allows foreign nationals to engage in caregiving work in Japan. By obtaining this qualification, individuals can provide support to the elderly and people with disabilities in nursing care facilities and other settings. In particular, holding the Certified Care Worker qualification is often required, and this system aims to address the labor shortage in the caregiving profession.

Study Abroad

This is a visa status that allows foreign nationals to pursue academic studies in Japan. While employment is not permitted under this status, students can work up to 28 hours per week by obtaining permission for activities outside their visa status.
※During long holidays such as summer vacation, the work limit is extended to 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
